Boomplay, the #1 music streaming platform in Africa, has announced its partnership with music creation platform Splice, to introduce “Beyond Afrobeats”, a new series of sample packs and collections from top artists who are pushing Afrobeats and other genres forward. The series will also include a Beat Battle hosted by award-winning producer, Sarz.
The growing demands and democratization of the music ecosystem in Africa, especially in Nigeria, have steered a wave of discussions and initiatives around opportunities for profiled and emerging talents and this unique partnership between Boomplay and Splice will allow creatives and new entrants in the music industry to participate in a “Beat Battle” to create and explore the sounds of ingenious producers such as Mystro, LeriQ, Dunnie and many more.
