Mavin Records star Rema is the cover of The Fader Magazine for its Now Issue 2020. It’s been a phenomenal year for the fast-rising music star since his less than 1 year of professional debut.
The singer/rapper joined stars like Drake, Meek Mill, Kendrick etc who have graced the cover of The Fader Magazine.
Rema born Divine Ikubor discussed his music, journey and the process of making some of his biggest tunes. He also spoke about being discovered and getting signed to D’Prince Jonzing World & Don Jazzy-led Mavin Records.
Besides, his music The Fader captured Rema’s rise and a candid projection of his future as the next African music superstar.
While, the future holds much promise for the music star, he told The Fader what type of impact he hopes to effect with his music “I only put out music when I need to say something,” he said. He continued, “My music might convey things about girls and beautiful ladies, but it’s still a statement about how talented you are, how diverse you are, and how far you’re gonna take the industry. I just speak when I feel like it’s time.”
